After visiting Brisbane for a holiday and falling in love with the land down under, Claire moved to Australia from England in 1997.


She has always had a love of health and fitness and is an avid long-distance runner. In 2018 an knee injury that meant she had to put pounding the pavement on hold for a while and find an alternative, low impact but high intensity, form of exercise to keep her busy during recovery. It was at this point that she found hot yoga!


In just three months her knee flexibility and range of movement had returned to pre-operation form. Impressed by the speed of her recovery, coupled with a love of the heat, hot yoga quickly became her number one choice of exercise.


With a newfound appreciation for both the physical and mental benefits of yoga, she took her passion further and completed her teacher training in 2020. Claire is now focused on delving further into her individual practice and expanding her understanding of yoga to teach others about the positive impacts that yoga has on our health and wellbeing.
